As one of Nigeria’s leading health insurance organizations, we are happy to announce our partnership with an indigenous technology firm to deliver patient-provider data management and electronic medical software to vast network of healthcare providers.
The software, Curacel, has been shown to smoothen operations in healthcare facilities in various African countries through seamless management of patient records and provider platforms.
In order to harmonize its partnership with Curacel, Redcare hosted some of its service providers (partner hospitals) to a zonal Stakeholders Engagement Meeting at its Lagos Head Office in August 2017. At the event, the CEO of Curacel, Mr. Mascot and his team elaborated the modalities of the software with a view to kick-starting a concept testing with some providers who show interest. The partnership has since seen some of Redcare’s service providers integrate the software at their various facilities.
Speaking during the unveiling, Redcare’s Managing Director, Dr. Babatunde Salako said: “Having been through a system where health practitioners faced and still face unbearable hurdles in the delivery of quality healthcare, we are quite pleased to be the conduit to deliver this value. “We understudied the software for more than a year to confirm it met international standards and found it to be a solution to some human resource challenges faced by healthcare providers. This goes in tandem with our mission to fulfill the healthcare needs of our enrollees, hospitals and communities we serve and it will help us to create value for our partner healthcare providers, by delivering optimal value-added services.”
As a tech-friendly health insurance organization, Redcare continues to explore new opportunities to render tangible solutions and technology and the partnership has since seen some of Redcare’s service providers integrate the software at their various facilities.
